Hi everyone! Today is a great day because we found the video that showed the seeder pick up the seed from the seed bin and drop it to our desired location.
So let me break it down for you, we coded the FarmBot to move its x-axis to pick up the seeder from its location with the built-in magnets. After it has picked that up, we coded it to go to the seed bin( a cup full of seeds) and pick up one or two seeds used by a sucking vacuum. The seeder then went above the desired location while still holding the seed and then went all the way down by using the z-axis to drop the seed by turning off the vacuum power. After its finished its job, it raises the z-axis coordinates and goes back to home.
This was a really big step into our journey since we were able to get the right coordinates and order in the right time. We hope you enjoy our video!
